Swift Creek Mental Health Services is excited to offer telehealth services for our patients.

You may join the telehealth waiting room from the main page our website, upper right-hand corner click Join Telehealth Waiting Room

If you are having trouble connecting please call the office 919-424-0062 and select option 2, if no one answers leave a message and call back and leave a message on your provider’s extension so we know to assist you. You do not need to do this if you are just patiently waiting in the virtual waiting room, we will see you in there.

Telehealth may not be the right choice for every appointment or every patient, but it can be a useful tool to reduce the burden of travel to the office and of missed work/school time. Insurance coverage varies by insurance. We ask that you treat your telehealth appointment just like you would an in-office appointment. Give yourself ample time to log in, make sure you are connected to Wifi and not cell service. Absolutely NO DRIVING. Remember this is a health care appointment and your provider may be tied up with another patient or urgent matter. Please be patient, just as you would if you were in the waiting room at the office. If we do not see you in the waiting room, we will give you a courtesy call to see if you are experiencing problems. Patients that do not wait for their provider to connect with them will be charged a no-show fee. We will attempt to let you know if the provider is running late, but please do not schedule appointments when you are pressed for time. Just as you wouldn’t walk into a provider’s office and expect to be seen immediately, that may be the case for your telehealth visit as well. We provide individual treatment and sometimes that derails the schedule.

Swift Creek Mental Health Services uses HIPAA compliant software and occasionally we must find an alternative platform if our main platform is not working. If this is the case, we will be contacting you on how to connect.
